Bowling

In the bowling centre there are 4 ready bowling lanes with professional equipment where you can test your fitness and spend pleasant moments with friends. You can make your bowling match more pleasant with refreshments from our Serpentine Bar. The whole space can be leased for a private party or a corporate meeting. The bar also offers large-scale projection of major sport events on a 1.5 by 1.5 m screen.

Billiard lovers can use our super-standard sized pool in the bowling bar. The billiards table is separated from the bowling tracks with boxes and a glazed wall to keep your privacy while you are playing.

Corporate parties and thematic receptions

We offer our spaces for your corporate events for you to choose a space tailored to your needs and desires concerning the style of the event. In the hotel restaurant, we will serve your gala dinner in the form of a served menu or a rich buffet dinner. In the summer months, you can use the terrace on the seventh floor of the hotel together with a pool, sauna, bar and a rich offer of grilling events, or you can book our bowling bar for parties until the morning. We offer refreshments in all of these spaces. We will be happy to tailor refreshments to your desires.
Thematic receptions

Refreshing conferences, training courses, seminars or meetings and Christmas parties with entertaining and unusual activities forms an integral part of our complex care of work teams. These programmes are designed to entertain, attract, surprise and offer an interesting common experience to help employees identify with their company and its goals.

Selected programmes from our rich offer:

Casino-style night
Stylish reproduced music in the background, croupiers in stylish dress, and the following games: roulette, black jack, poker, dice and plate. The participants receive tokens worth 1000 “crowns” on entry and must manage with them all night. They can exchange the won tokens for small present in the shop. The three biggest prizes are finally auctioned.

Film festival
The contesting teams receive movie cameras to shoot an ad or TV news on the basis of their own scenario in the reserved time of two hours. The maximum length of the movies is 5 minutes. The projection is enriched with arrival of film stars and even limousines can be used. In the context of the evening projections an independent jury assesses the best individual actor ´s performance and the best and worst movie.

Drink Star
Teams prepare and present their drink as “red eye” or “exciter”. They can use professional bartenders who will open the whole competition with their bartender show. The teams will receive ingredients to prepare their unique drink for the rest of the competitors. Finally the individual products are presented, tasted and evaluated. The whole event is again closed with a bartender show.

Indoor Games
A team competition where every team nominates its athletes for the individual board games. The results are added together. The available disciplines include: darts, pool, marbles, stiga hockey and table football. The individual matches are opened with professional audience stirrers.

Concert or Superstar
An evening with a speaker in the Karaoke style with a discotheque. The individual teams select and rehearse songs to be later presented with an appropriate artistic show to the colleagues. A jury consisting of trainers and managers independently scores the individual teams. Karaoke then continues, if the participants wish with a free discotheque.

TV Competitions
Test your knowledge in our knowledge competitions as you know them from the TV screen. We offer a simplified version for example, Videostop, Millionaire, Case, Nobody is Perfect, Risk, Superstar, Quick Money or An Hour of Truth and other familiar TV competitions. The games take place simultaneously in various spaces.

Limonádový Joe
Some country dancing, discotheque, Kolaloka and a lot of Whiskey. Competitions in violin eating, cancan of bar dancers, improvised horse riding and taming of electrical bull...

Šakalí léta
A party in the style of rock´n´roll of 1960. Rolling Stones and Beatles in their best form, flower children. Stage creations of professional dancers and the participants themselves. Flowers everywhere, sunny atmosphere and nice games inspired by the movie by Jan Hřebejko Šakalí léta.

Celebrations, Birthday Parties and Various Anniversaries

The team of the Academic Hotel is prepared to help you organize your celebration, your exceptional day or another social event by offering corresponding services for you to be free to take care of your guests and fulfil other pleasant duties without worries about the progress of the celebration. This is connected with professional approach to the event organisation and preparation of an offer for your gests for the evening to run exactly as you wish.
We are prepared to organize for you any type of birthday party with a rich associated programme, with refreshments and in the untraditional Sky Bar. Address us with any requirement and we will welcome it.

If you prefer a quiet meeting with your closest friends there is the hotel restaurant as the ideal venue, where we will prepare your individual menu consisting of your favourite meals. If you seek an untraditional celebration book the Sky Bar where you can admire the surroundings of Roztoky from the height of 7th aboveground floor of the hotel or refresh your body in the pool with the sun terrace. We have a special grilling offer ready for this space. If you like active celebrations you can use our four bowling tracks in the Serpentine Bowl Bar, a billiards table, a bar football board, a discotheque equipment including a screen and a data projector, where you can show your own photographs or movies in the course of the evening.

City teambuilding

Our course of team cooperation, unlike the theoretical ones, offers a variety of concepts and combinations of adventure, sports, animated, creative and psychological games making the participants remember long forgotten activities, compete and get truly engaged. Heading towards a common goal, sometimes at the expense of physical strain, often creates euphoric states of true enthusiasm, which helps improve team relationships on the basis of friendship. Complete seminars of individual programmes serve for development of new standards of interpersonal relationships.

Specified training methods we offer include the City outdoor. Even in a city environment near the hotel it is possible to prepare an attractive programme using elements of team cooperation and outdoor activities such as rudiments of rappelling techniques, strategic games, orienteering etc. This type of programmes is ideal for coming tourists and therefore for incoming travel bureaux.

These events may be used for building new work teams or new starts of bored routine collectives.
